Visit a working fish farm before sailing towards Hell’s Gates, the notorious entrance from the Southern Ocean to Macquarie Harbour. Passing through the historic Docklands, travel west along the shoreline of the Derwent River to the historic village of New Norfolk. Here we visit a wildlife park where you come face to face with Australia's unique koalas, wombats and kangaroos. Leaving New Norfolk pass through the majestic forests of Mt Field National Park where you have the opportunity to spotlight for wild animals. Other highlights include Lake Fenton and the unique flora that surrounds it, and magnificent Russell Falls, before making our way back to your Hobart Hotel.
