Departs Perth every Friday combining three of WA’s renowned northern icons, wild dolphins at Monkey Mia, Kalbarri gorges and Pinnacles Desert.

Day 1: Perth to Monkey Mia (L, D) Travel north via Port Denison and onto Greenough Flats where we will see unusual ‘leaning trees’. Then to the area of Shark Bay where your overnight accommodation will be located at Monkey Mia beach where the dolphins come in. Accommodation: Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort or similar.

Day 2: Monkey Mia to Kalbarri (B, L, D) This morning we will interact more with the dolphins. As they are wild, dolphin appearances are not guaranteed but their scheduled arrivals have been a ritual for many years. Option to sail a 60 foot catamaran ‘Shotover’ (own expense). This afternoon we will visit incredible Shell Beach and Stromatolites before travelling to Kalbarri (famous wildflowers, season Jul-Sep). Accommodation: Best Western Kalbarri Palms Resort or similar.

Day 3: Kalbarri to Perth (B, L) Today you will travel along Kalbarri coastal gorges before stopping for lunch at the rock lobster fishing village of Cervantes. Then onto Pinnacles Desert, an amazing moon-like landscape before arriving back into Perth at approx 7.00pm. Includes: luxury coach travel, expert commentary, entry fees, choice of superior twin share accommodation with private facilities or budget twin/quad share with some shared facilities. 3 lunches, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners.

4WD Pinnacles, Koalas & Sand Boarding
 

Travel to Nambung National Park, home of the Pinnacles. View amazing moonscapes and walk through the strange limestone pillars. You will also visit Yanchep National Park where you will get the opportunity to photograph koalas and 4WD over massive sand dunes. Or try sand boarding before enjoying a beach picnic lunch and swim (weather permitting).

Departs Perth every Monday 8.30am Highlights include Pinnacles desert and Monkey Mia, coral view or snorkel cruise, Ningaloo Reef & Coral Bay, Kalbarri National Park, and entry fees and meals.

Day 1 Perth to Monkey Mia (L, D) - Travel north via the 'lobster fishing area' of Port Denison and Geraldton to the World Heritage area of Monkey Mia. Tonight enjoy an optional astronomy beach talk. Overnight Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, Shark Bay.

Day 2 Monkey Mia to Carnarvon (B, L, D) - This morning enjoy spending time at Monkey Mia resort where you may encounter the dolphins (sightings not guaranteed). Later enjoy a 1 hour wildlife cruise aboard the ‘Shotover’ (at own expense) before continuing north to Carnarvon. Overnight Best Western Hospitality Inn, Carnarvon.

Day 3 Coral Bay, Ningaloo Reef (B, D) - Today arrive at Coral Bay, the centrepiece of the pristine Ningaloo Reef where you can be inhabited by the amazing coral, giant clams, dugongs and dolphins. This morning choose between a coral viewing and snorkelling cruise. Overnight Best Western Hospitality Inn, Carnarvon.

Day 4 Carnarvon to Kalbarri (B, L, D) - Head to Hawks Head lookout in the Kalbarri National Park where you view spectacular wildflowers (Jul-Oct). Overnight Best Western Kalbarri Palm Resort, Kalbarri or similar.

Day 5 Kalbarri to Perth (B, L) - On the homeward stretch pass through Kalbarri coastal gorges with a stop at the rock lobster village of Cervantes for lunch and Pinnacles Desert. Arrive Perth approx 7.00pm.

Travel south to Rockingham where you board your catamaran to Cockburn Sound. On the water guides will explain dolphin behaviour and noises via an underwater microphone. Sea lions, penguins and pelicans are also seen regularly. Morning tea is included with fresh mussels and octopus cooked on board.
Departs daily from Perth at 7.30am Returns between 11am & 12 noon (except Jun-Aug).

Full Day or Overnight Margart River Tour

Depart Perth 8.00am returns approx 8.30pm. Travel by air-conditioned, 5star luxury coach to Margaret River Wine Region where you will visit Xanadu Winery for wine tasting. We then travel onto Eagles Heritage Raptor Centre for a close up encounter and free-flight display then enjoy a picnic lunch. Then onto Leeuwin Estate Winery for more wine tasting. From here we will see the spectacular Mammoth Cave with its limestone formations before stopping at Surfers Point Lookout. You will then visit Margaret River’s township for free time to explore the main street shops, featuring local arts & crafts. Stop at the seaside resort of Busselton Jetty before returning back to Perth.

Overnight Option: Includes the highlights mentioned above except the winery tour becomes a half day locally guided winery tour with tastings before returning to your accommodation. approx 6pm. Overnight Emerald Colonial Lodge (motel room with ensuite bathroom). Free time to explore Margaret River Township on the morning of day 2 before heading back to Perth.
