The early rise is worth it as you watch the first rays of sunlight creep across the monolith whilst enjoying a warm drink. After sunrise coach to Mutitjulu Waterhole for a guided walk around this beautiful waterhole, then continue your walk around the base of Uluru, experiencing its sheer size as it towers above you. Learn about the geological formation, Aboriginal history and flora & fauna of this unique region from your expert guide. Coach around to the Kantju Gorge for the Mala walk section then return to the Resort via the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.

A short walk to the dune lookout puts one in touch with your environment and lets you delight in the spectacular panoramic view of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) - a very sacred place to the Aboriginal people. Arriving at Olga Gorge, hear how it has evolved over millions of years. Celebrate the fantastic colour changes seen as the sun sets whilst enjoying some complimentary champagne.
Departs daily between 3.30pm and 4.30pm dependent on the time of year. Returns 4 hours later.

Operates all year. Departs approx 45 mins before sunset, returns 4 hrs later. Experience a gourmet BBQ under a million stars. Guests are driven to a special site in the desert, as a didgeridoo player weaves his magic spell, diners enjoy canapes and witness a spectacular sunset. The feast includes barramundi, kangaroo, emu, crocodile, bush salads and classic Australian desserts. Guests are then treated to some of the world’s best stargazing with the assistance of a resident astronomer. Finally there is coffee or tea, and in winter guests enjoy port whilst gathered around a campfire. The evening concludes with a return trip to the Resort.

Sunrise Tour - Departs daily 1 hour before sunrise, duration 2 1/ 2 hours. Enjoy a peaceful Camel ride amongst the big red sand dunes in the cool, clear morning air and watch the sunrise on Uluru. Return to the camel depot for Billy Tea and freshly made beer-bread and a chat about camels.

Sunset Tour – Departs daily, 1.5 hrs before sunset, duration 2 hours. Sit back and let the friendly camels carry you off the beaten track to watch the sunset on Uluru from the tallest seats in town! Return to the camel depot for a glass of champagne or soft drink, some tasty snacks and a chat about camels.
