700 Islands are dotted along the 2,500 km length of the Queensland Coast. To help narrow down the choice we have chosen the top 7 resort islands. Each has its own special features ranging from rainforest islands with day trips to the Outer Barrier Reef through to true coral cays with fringing reefs and superb snorkelling right off the shore. All are readily accessible from the mainland. The climate is warm & tropical year round, summer temperatures range from 31C to 24C, winter temps range from 26C to 17C. January to April sees the most rainfall.
